Countertops Installed

The countertops were installed today and they look great. I forgot to take the camera to get some pictures. I'll take some later this week and post them. Saw several large does when we left the cabin this evening.

Quiet Saturday

Not much to report today. Mel and I stayed at home and didn't go to the cabin. We did buy a cabinet to install in the upstairs bathroom. I'll install it tomorrow when we go to the cabin.

Another Cold Day in SW Ohio

Wow, it was cold again this morning, -4 degrees. I went to the cabin and installed the dishwasher today. I only have to complete the wiring and it will be complete. It was cold working at the cabin as the electric went off shortly after I arrived. On the bright side, I saw several turkeys just up the road from the cabin. Here's a pic of the front of the cabin.

Dishwasher Install

Tomorrow I plan to install the dishwasher in the island. I want to get this complete before Monday when the countertops will be installed. We had some snow this morning, I bet it was beautiful at the cabin today. Here's another pic of the cabin.

Getting Close

Hard to believe its Wednesday already. I went and got the supplies I need to hook up the dishwasher in the island this weekend. I'll get that completed before they come on Monday to install the granite countertops. By the middle of next week the kitchen should be finished. Here's another pic of the cabin.

Countertops

Well, our kitchen countertops are going to be installed on Monday. We can't wait to see the kitchen finally finished. I'll post some pictures of it after its completed. Until then, here's another picture of the stairway in the cabin.

Stairway

Mel and I approved the layouts for the granite countertops today. They should be installed in a few weeks. They are really going to look beautiful! Here is a picture of the stairway and railings to the 2nd floor and loft of the cabin. It is all made of cedar that came off the property.
